ASTM A992 and A572 Dual Certified Steel Beam and Channel. We stocks ASTM A992 (A572 Grade 50) dual certified beams. A992 is the most commonly used structural steel in construction and is used to make I beams, Wide Flange, as well as channels, plates.ASTM A992 steel contains small content of vanadium or columbium, copper, nickel, chrome and molybdenum, all of which greatly improve A992 comprehensive property.
Stainless steel 304 and stainless steel 304L are also known as 1.4301 and 1.4307 respectively. 304 is the most versatile and widely used stainless steel.
Alloy 321 (UNS S32100) is a titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel with good general corrosion resistance. 321H (UNS S 32109) is the higher carbon (0.04 – 0.10) version of 321 stainless steel.
316 is the standard molybdenum-bearing grade, second in importance to 304 amongst the austenitic stainless steels. The molybdenum gives 316 better overall corrosion resistant properties than 304, particularly higher resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments.
